We are just over 5 months away from being on the start line of Ultra-Trail Australia 2020! Now is the time to kick your training into the next gear.

Whether you want to post a PB, or just make it to the finish, training is a crucial part of your preparation, and we want to help you get it right. So, we’ve partnered with some of the best coaches, trainers and training groups in the trail running world to get you in peak form for 5 months time!

There will be many of you hitting the trails over the Christmas break. If you are on the UTA course please read the 'training on course' info here. Especially for the UTA 22/50/100 Courses at the bottom of Kedumba Pass... don't miss the right hand turn!

Due to the current situation with the fires, make sure to check on National Park track closures here. Be sure to look after yourself and each other out there.

Please refer to the info below regarding start groups, to make sure that you're happy with the following: 
  1. For UTA 100/50, your choice of start group seeding option (Using ITRA, Result in a Marathon, Member of SQUADRUN, No Seeding).

  2. For UTA 100/50 the start group seeding information you have provided so that you can be seeded appropriately.

  3. Your start group request/choice is appropriate for the seeding information you have provided. Note that If you wish to start in the same start group as your friends, you should all request the same start group which suits the slowest friend’s running ability.

UTA100 & UTA50 Start Groups

You must prove you belong in your requested start group. There are several ways to do this. The deadline for providing start group seeding info to your user profile / online entry form is 13 March.

UTA22 and UTA11 are self-seeding. Check your user profile online to see your start group. Not sure if it’s the right one for you? Check the online guideline.
